Documentary Intensive for Grades 10-12, July 25-29, 12:00-4:00pm
Location: 253 Wolfs Lane, Satellite Film Lab/On Location
Instructor: Emily Dombroff, Film Production Teacher and Art Dept. Chair, Mamaroneck High School
This class provides students with an immersive filmmaking experience: the opportunity to produce a short, documentary film from inception to completion. Starting with research on our chosen charity, students then learned about interviewing techniques, lighting, sound, cinematography and editing as they collaborated to make a documentary film highlighting County Harvest, and how it serves our community. Special emphasis was placed on learning the technique of Cinema Verité and producing a film in that style.
